The Art History Time Machine is an installation where you paint with your silhouette. Using infrared light, the camera and projector outlines the silhouettes of people moving in front of the screen with paint imagery. At the top of the Watercolor Walls screen is a color palette. When your silhouette comes in contact with one of the colors on the palette, it changes color, and bring that new color down into the rest of the screen. That new color then interacts with the differently colored silhouettes of others. That gives participants a unique ability to control both the on-screen colors and flow ofthe silhouettes.
